Aegis Simulator Theater and Vintage Aircraft:
The First Hall will include the interactive Aegis Simulator Theater in which visitors can create their own stragedy in a naval or military event and influence the outcome. Here, too, will be a memorial to those lost in the USS Forrestal explosion and fire. Vintage aircraft will be exhibited in the adjoining hall.
Earn Your Wings
To Earn Your Wings a visitor will fly four jet warplanes - by simulator - each more difficult to manage than the one before. As part of the Exploration Wing in the Defense Hall, visitors can descend "through" an F-14 Tomcat fighter, peering into the layers of its fuselage, wings and interior parts to appreciate the jet as a true Power Plan.
