Tampa Bay Online began publishing online in 1994. By leveraging the strength of its core brands and utilizing its online experience, Tampa Bay Online has produced a network of nationally-recognized and highly-trafficked Web sites. These sites have combined traffic of over 7 million pages viewed and 150,000 unique visitors each month. The bulk of this traffic is from local viewers. Tampa Bay Online's last online reader survey showed that 83 percent of its visitors are from Florida, 65 percent are in the four-county Tampa Bay area of Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco and Hernanado counties.
