Getting There by Car
There are several routes, and nearly all eventually use Interstate 275, which passes to the west of the stadium. Several exits off the highway allow access to the stadium area. Avenues run east-east and streets north or south beginning at Central Avenue.

Unless posted, no parking is allowed in residential areas north of 2nd Avenue North or south of 5th Avenue South. Violators may be ticketed by the police.

From Tampa and points north: South on I-275 to Exit #9 (I-175). To avoid traffic, take Exits #19, #17, #14, #13 or #12 and head south on 16th St., M.L. King (9th St.) or 4th St.

From Clearwater/North Pinellas: South on McMullen-Booth Rd. or U.S. 19. Proceed east to I-275 or less congested alternatives: 16th St., M.L. King (9th St.) or 4th St.

From points south: North on I-275 to Exit #9 (I-175). To avoid traffic, take Exit #6 to 22nd Ave. S. and head north on 16th St., M.L. King (9th St.) or 4th St.

From South Pinellas Beaches: Take Treasure Island Causeway or Pasadena Ave. to 1st Ave. S and east on 1st Ave. S. Or, take Pinellas Bayway to I-275 northbound.

While approaching Tropicana Field, tune into WFLA 970 AM for game day traffic reports every 10 minutes. Along the Interstate roadways, look for electronic message boards with traffic updates and parking lot capacities.
